4 die in Arunachal gorge: Four tourists from the city died and three were critically injured when the Tata Sumo they were travelling in through dense fog skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in Jang in Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday evening.

Five held for theft: Five men from Tamil Nadu were arrested at Kharagpur station on Wednesday for robbing three persons, two of them doctors, on Park Street and Shakespeare Sarani on Monday and Tuesday. Three laptops, eight cellphones, Rs 50,000 and an instrument to measure blood pressure were found on the five, who were heading back to Tamil Nadu.
